War Table ("we," "us," the "App") is an iOS application that lets you pose a question and have five AI models debate it across three rounds to produce a verdict. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how it's handled, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain. If anything is unclear, email hello@wartable.co.
We collect the minimum needed to run the App: your account email, the questions you ask, and the AI responses to them. Your questions are sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses. We don't sell your data. You can delete your account at any time.
War Table is an independent app operated by Myles Rieben, based in California, United States. The App is distributed on the Apple App Store. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@wartable.co.
When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive an email address (which may be an Apple private-relay address if you choose to hide your email) and, if you choose to share it, your name. We use this to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Apple password or any other Apple account details.
When you ask a question, we process the text of that question and the responses the AI models generate. Depending on your settings, a record of a debate may be stored so it appears in your history. If you start a Temporary debate, that debate is not saved to your history.
We may collect basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as app version, general error and crash diagnostics, and counts of how many debates you've run (used to apply usage limits and, where applicable, subscription entitlements). We do not collect your contacts, photos (except an image you explicitly attach to a debate), precise location, or browsing history.
We do not use your debate content to advertise to you, and we do not sell your personal information.
The core function of War Table requires sending the text of your question (and the models' intermediate responses) to third-party AI providers so they can generate the debate. These providers process your question to return a response. We route these requests through an aggregation service. The providers whose models participate are:
| Model | Provider |
|---|---|
| Claude | Anthropic |
| GPT-5 | OpenAI |
| Gemini | |
| Grok | xAI |
| Qwen | Alibaba Cloud |
Requests are routed through OpenRouter, which forwards your question to the relevant provider. Each provider handles data according to its own privacy and data-use policies, which we do not control. You should avoid entering sensitive personal information, secrets, or confidential third-party data into a debate. Do not enter information you would not be comfortable sending to an external AI service.
Account information and saved debates are stored using Supabase, a hosted database and authentication provider, on infrastructure located in the United States. Some processing also occurs on Apple's platform services as part of normal App Store and Sign in with Apple operation.
We retain your account information and saved debates for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your access and initiate deletion of the associated account data. Temporary debates are not stored after the session. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period for security and operational reasons before being overwritten.
War Table is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including authenticated access and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the App evolves. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated within the App or by email where appropriate.
